My heart is broken...

What an inspiring and heroic woman Katie is. Born with a heart block, Katie had her first pacemaker fitted when she was four years old. It meant that there were some things she couldn’t do as a child but she would not be held back, earning a black belt in kickboxing alongside her four sisters. At 14, Katie knew she wanted to devote her life to other people’s hearts. She is now a cardiac physiologist. Paying forward the gift of life - I love her! Out now in New.
