The best sister team ever! Take a Break Magazine

Well this is a very happy day at Phoenix Features, for today Take a Break published my story about my darling sister, Pip. I give Pip all the credit for where I am now - I wouldn't be the compassionate (and modest) writer that I am now if she hadn't been such a huge influence on me. I adore my sister, she is the funniest, sweetest person I know. She makes me want to be a better person and she never, ever complains about her lot.There's been a lot of talk about microcephaly in the press in recent months, which is the condition Pip was born with. While I wouldn't wish a life-limiting condition on anyway, Pip makes my world a better place and I am honoured to share her story with the world. She makes me smile and I hope our story makes you smile too!
